This Mini Soya Chunks Pulao Recipe is easy to cook and has a great taste neutrality. Soya bean needs no introduction as it comes with lots of proteins. There are many options for proteins however, the best one is to use soya chunks which are protein rich.
Soak soya chunks in water for 20 mins. Squeeze the soya chunks and marinate it with curds, chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder and salt. Marinate at least for 15 mins.
Heat pressure cooker. Add oil and ghee. Add cumin, cardamom, cloves, bay leaf, cinnamon stick and roast them. Add onions and chopped green chillies. Add ginger garlic paste and saute.
Add tomatoes and saute for 5 mins on slow flame. Add turmeric powder red chilli powder garam masala and saute. Add soya chunks and cook for 5 minutes.
Add coriander leaves mint leaves salt and mix well.
Add soaked rice and at enough water in pressure cooker for 2 whistles and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Serve the Soya chunk rice with raita.
