Eggless Ladi Pav | Pav Recipe | Homemade Pav | Eggless Pav Bread Recipe is a hearty homemade bun that is famous pav of Mumbai. This feather-soft ladi pav is best had with most cuisines like potato vada, Samosas, vegetable curry or spicy bhaji.

This Laadi Pav is made with instant dry yeast that is more commonly available in stores and very effective. The key to making eggless ladi pav is that you make sure that the dough has proved (that means doubled in size) very well, post that put dough of the ladi pav in the tray. Once the ladi pav is out of the over make sure to brush butter or oil the ladi pav to ensure it stays soft and does not dry up.

 1.25 cups Warm Milk
 8 g Dry yeast
 2 tsp Sugar
 3 cups Maida (approx 450 gms)
 1 tsp Salt
 2 tbsp Room temperature butter

Activate the yeast in a bowl by combining 1 cup milk, 2 tsp sugar and 8 grams dry yeast.

Add 3 cup maida and 1 tsp salt. Knead until the dough turns soft.

Add 2 tbsp butter and knead the dough.

Cover with cling wrap or cloth and let it rest for one hour in a warm place.

Punch the dough and knead it slightly to remove air incorporated.

Place the balls into a greased tray.

Cover with cling wrap and allow to rest for 15 to 20 minutes or until the dough reaches the brim of the tray.

Preheat and bake at 180 degree celcius for 20 minutes

Once the pav is out of the oven, rub with butter and cover with a wet cloth. It will make the bread super soft.
