Rajmachi is one of my favourite trekking destination in all seasons despite over commercialisation of this place. Its a huge place n u can always find a secluded spot to enjoy the beauty of this place. Fireflies during summer, mesmerising waterfalls during monsoon and star gazing during winter is wat Rajmachi offers. This place will never disappoint you no matter wat time of the year you choose to visit.
If you are an adventurous trekker try climbing Rajmachi from Karjat side. No crowd no vehicles and a steep route that offers mind blowing views of the mountain range.
This was my second visit to Rajmachi after years. A lot has changed but the experience was still mesmerising.
The festival of fireflies as it is named, was magical and we were lucky to witness the beauty without any hindrance.
